Outdoor Art Workshop & Cream Tea - Moor Hall Drive - Wednesday 31st July
Our lovely student Tracy Newton is allowing us the use of her gorgeous garden for an outdoor art workshop at 31 Moor Hall Drive, Sutton Coldfield B75 6LR on Wednesday 31st July from 10am to 1pm.
Moor Hall pool is thought to have been made under instruction from Bishop Vesey in the 1500’s. It is spring fed and flows through Moor Hall Golf course and then underground all the way to Sutton town centre. The house on the site was built by Godfrey Streather, who originally lived at Moor Hall, now the hotel. The lake is privately owned so this is a unique opportunity to experience and paint this important part of Sutton Coldfield and it's history.
For this workshop, feel free to bring along your own choice of medium. We will have sketching packs available should you wish to purchase one.
50% of the proceeds will be donated to Dogs Trust, so this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy art in the company of like minded people and support a great cause!
Price includes refreshments, cream tea, and the lovely Sabrina will be on hand to provide useful tips to help you with your sketches!
