Introduction to Calligraphy - Four Oaks Methodist Church Saturday 18th January 9.30am to 11am
We are pleased to now offer Calligraphy workshops. Our next Introduction session will be on Saturday 18th January 9.30am to 11am at Four Oaks Methodist Church, 155 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield B74 2UU.
Our introduction session will teach you the basics of Calligraphy as a whole, practice of strokes used in the letters and completion of the foundation font along with practical application into smaller words and phrases using the font.
We will practise using Calligraphy marker pens and then move on to using Calligraphy pens. If you would like to use your own Calligraphy pen set, please bring this with you, if not, you can book and pre-order a 3 nib set for £5 to use and take home with you.
Our pen sets are the standard sets but if you are left-handed, you might want to order a 3 nib left-handed set using this link or from Amazon.
Follow up sessions will be available which will look into different fonts and brush lettering.
