5 Week Introduction to Art - Monday Evenings 14th October 6.30pm to 9pm
Our introduction to art course is one session a week for five weeks at Four Oaks Methodist Church at 6.30pm to 9pm. Perfect for complete beginners, covering the elements and principles of art, as well as drawing and painting techniques using pencils charcoals & pastels, watercolour, and acrylics on canvas.
The topics you'll cover include:
Line, shape & form (using pencils, charcoal pencils and pens)
Depth, tone & texture (using charcoals & pastels)
Understanding colour (using watercolour)
Portraiture (using pencils and coloured pencils)
Painting with confidence (using acrylics on a canvas)

However, our 10 week All Abilities Course is a great alternative, which runs throughout the year, and is totally suitable for absolute beginners.
