5 Week Introduction to Art - Thursday 18th April 10am to 12.30pm
Our introduction to art course is one session a week for five weeks at Shenstone Village Hall, Barnes Rd, Shenstone, WS14 0LT from 10am to 12.30pm. Perfect for complete beginners, covering the elements and principles of art, as well as drawing and painting techniques using pencils charcoals & pastels, watercolour, and acrylics on canvas.
The topics you'll cover include:
Line, shape & form (using pencils, charcoal pencils and pens)
Depth, tone & texture (using charcoals & pastels)
Understanding colour (using watercolour)
Portraiture (using pencils and coloured pencils)
Painting with confidence (using acrylics on a canvas)

However, our 10 week All Abilities Course is a great alternative, which runs throughout the year, and is totally suitable for absolute beginners.
